The works of Jeremy Aynsley presented in this selection range across paintings, etchings, monoprints and linocuts. Their subjects are varied. Many suggest places and spaces, whether imagined cities or landscapes. Others are still lifes, arrangements of everyday objects. All works oscillate between abstraction and figuration. They allow for accident and chance, frequently informed by the medium and questions of form.
